Oh heavens, it's good to be back! Judging from your comments, emails and general profanity, I could tell that you boys and girls missed me too! What a crazy busy and fun and suprising Pub Quiz we had! My Dad celebrated his 60th birthday! My Godmother brought a giant cake for EVERYONE! And we had a tie for first place! Some of the teams had an INCREDIBLY difficult time with the missing link this month. It was a tough one, but I think, in general, you all did great. Greetings and salutations Pub Quiz aficionados! Hopefully everyone has been spending this past month and a half studying for the greatest pub quiz ever! Unfortunately, we never know when or where that will be. But in the mean time, strap on yer stupid, it’s almost time for another miked Pub Quiz! Greetings quiz-heads! I just thought I'd drop a line as a reminder that The miked Pub Quiz will be taking a break in August, but will return in force in September. I will be gallivanting around the beautiful countryside in Ireland for three weeks, and will certainly not at all miss you guys and gals. The incessant hate mail, the glaring sarcastic looks, the bountiful middle-finger-flipping and the profanity will have to wait. Well holy jumpin' juniper berries! We had ourselves a fun little quiz this June! Didn't we? Yeah, we did. You know we did. The ol' pop culture quiz seemed to go quite well. Everyone seemed to enjoy screaming random things at the top of their lungs. Most notably, our good friend, the word "Yellow" seemed to be at the tip of everyone's screaming voice. I'm so proud of you guys and gals! You're finally learning colors and shapes. Next month, we'll delve deeper into tying our shoes and remembering our phone numbers! How exciting for you!  Also, in the next week or so, I'll post a poll of some sort to get your feedback on what type of questions or topics you would like to see. So I’m at work the other day. The usual same old putting out fires. Lots and lots of, “Holy CRAP! Things are on FIRE!” And fun international problems. Stuff in Halifax Canada was all dorked up. Things in Japan were all dorked up. Aside from that, the laptop I use for the quiz had a hard drive malfunction (i.e. crash), and I had to wipe my home computer thus losing a ton of old pub quizzes in the process.
