What a truly wonderful quiz to kick-off the new years! More than 90 of you enjoyed the quiz, or at least attented and played this week! There was some stiff competition, and quite a few thrown items, broken egos, and smashed players. Read more for the complete-ish summary, and a run-down of the scores!

As  always, don’t forget to check the Fotos section for some great pics of some entertaining patrons! Some of you seemed to enjoy NOT having a World Showcase round. And others seemed to really hate the Language round this month. My on-going efforts to keep the quiz balanced between too simple, and too difficult, are an ever-moving target. Just when I think everyone is getting smarter, you all are, in fact, doing the exact opposite. Maybe next month I’ll do a finger-painting round, and a shapes round. How exciting! Won’t that be fun? We’ll have a play date!

Also, a couple teams kicked-ass on the picture round, and numerous teams got the Missing Link. Special shout-out to Gerry’s Kids for getting it almost IMMEDIATELY after I asked the 2^nd question! “The Ken Jennings Family Band" was not awarded the customary Last Place Prize Packet of Quandry and Upsettedness™ as they didn't stick around long enough to claim their prize. Which was unfortunate. So the last-place winners(?) were Statler & Waldorf. In fact, Statler was quoted mid-quiz as saying, “This is bullshit.You suck, miked!” So nice.
